Pat Egan - Wool, size 46. During the 1948-49 season,  No. 6 was worn by Neil Colville. During the 1949-50 and 1950-51 seasons it was worn by Pat Egan. This jersey was dated from the collector that owned the jersey. According to photographic research it was around this time the Rangers started to wear the tie downs. This jersey has shrunk somewhat.  It has the Cosby tag in the hem and you can make out the size 46 tag, even though some of it has frayed away.

Dean Prentice  - Cosby wool, size 46 . Cosby tag in hem.  Jersey comes with a LOA written by Dean Prentice stating this was his jersey out of his collection. Right around 1959 the Rangers started to wear numbers on the sleeves. LOA from the Spirit of the Game.

Game Wear:       

Pete Stemkowski  - Cosby durene knit, size 52 . This jersey was worn as a #21 in the 75-76 season by Pete Stemkowski, then in the 76-77 Preseason the #2 was taken off and the #1 was put on to make it into a #11 for Ken Hodge, a nameplate was then put over the Stemkowski name which is sewn directly to the jersey.  The team also removed the 50th Anniversary patch. The Hodge nameplate has since been removed and is no longer with the jersey. In the 74-75 season Pete was the Assistant captain and you can see were the "A" was removed.  Truly as awesome piece of Rangers history that spans 3 years.

Game Wear:       

Phil Esposito  - Stall and Dean mesh, size 54.  This jersey is photo matched to the hem repairs, in the photo you can actually count the mesh holes that are spaced around the repair. I have video tape evidence that this thin number style was used in the first half of 78-79 season, later they switched to the fat sleeve numbers. Cosby tag in collar.

Ulf Nilsson - Stall and Dean mesh, size 50. Cosby tags in the collar. This jersey was used in the regular season and also recycled again into Preseason, because there is evidence of a nameplate removal.  #11 it is now a retired number for Rangers.

Game Wear:       

Steve Vickers - Stall and Dean Cosby mesh, size 52.  From the tagging in the collar and distinct dropdown shadow numbers on the sleeves, it can be from 81-82 season Steve retires after the 81-82 season, so during 81-82 he only plays in 34 games with the Rangers and spends time in Springfield for 20 games.  This was probably a second set jersey that he may have used or not, there is really no way in telling either way do to the light use, but everything is there in the jersey to point that it did come from the Rangers locker room, tagging,  and fight strap put in.

 He sailed along through the seasons with consistency until 1981-82 when his numbers and effectiveness began to slip. He was demoted to the Springfield Indians for the balance of the campaign at which time he packed it in for good. Quote from the Hockey Hall of Fame. LOA from the Spirit of the Game.
