Joe Watson -  Champion Mesh, size 50. Everything is screened on. Champion tag in collar. LOA from the Spirit of the Game. This jersey is a 1st year Rockies and needs research.  Right now my research leads me to believe this is a  preseason jersey worn by Watson.  During the regular season he wears the captains "C" and its not this jersey.

Nick Beverly, Byran Lefley, Kevin Morisson Rawlings mesh, size 48.  

Game Wear:       

Don Ashby - Rawlings mesh, size 48. In the 79-80 season Nelson Pyatt and Mike Dwyer wear #19 and listed as wearing #12 is Don Ashby.  Ashby only plays in 11 games, Dwyer 19 games and Pyatt 19 games. Don bounces back and forth between Forth Worth and Colorado before being traded to Edmonton for Bobby Schmautz, February 25, 1980.  When Ashby becomes a Oiler he wears #19. So it is very plausible that  Ashby wears #19 on his last call up to Colorado before being traded, but more research needs to be done.

Steve Tambellini  - Sandow Sk durene knit, size 48.  LOA from the Colorado Rockies training staff. All sewn on except the name is heat pressed onto a durene nameplate. LOA from the Spirit of the Game. Original nameplate that was never reattached.  Fantastic 3 layered tackle twill crest.

Game Wear:       

Lanny McDonald - Sandow SK Durene, size 52.  This jersey has been in a private collection since the early 1980's. This jersey matches against in every aspect to the other durene Rockies that I have seen and authenticated. What is unique about this jersey is the tackle twill McDonald name sewn over the crappy screened on McDonald name. The Rockies screened on the names to a knit style namebar, of course with screen printing the crack and peel and flake off. Since McDonald was the Captain and star for the Rockies the reinforced his name with tackle twill stitching over the screen printed name. Which is what the Rockies should have done to the entire set.  Lanny McDonald jerseys are some of the hardest to find in the hobby and for this one to be a Rockies durene with game use and repairs makes this one of the most rare McDonalds ever to come back into the hobby.

Joe Micheletti - Sandow Sporting Knit Durene, size 52. LOA from The Spirit of the Game. 

Game Wear:       

Jacques Lemaire - Delong warm-up suite, size large. This was worn and signed by Lemaire when he was the head coach for the Devils.  Also included is the pants. Very nice silver pen autograph below the NJ logo. The jacket has pockets and is a zip up jacket. Pants are XL and have side and back pockets.

Mel Bridgman - CCM Mesh, Size 52.  Cosby tag in collar and screened on hem.

Game Wear:

Paul Gagne - CCM Ultrafil knit, size 48. 85-10 born on date in the collar. Cosby tag in the collar. LOA from the Spirit of the Game. 

Game Wear:       

Randy Velischek  - CCM mesh, size 54. LOA from the Spirit of the Game. I don't seem any signs of a nameplate change. Cosby tag in the collar. According to Devils collector Jason Seidl these were worn in most likely pre-season from 85-6,86-7 or 87-88 in mesh with a Knit nameplate. Thanks Jason for the help.

Ben Hankinson - CCM Ultrafil knit, size 52.  According to the LOA from MeiGray this jersey was worn for several pre-seasons.  The jersey does show one nameplate change and at one time also had a assistant captains "A" on it.  LOA from MeiGray and the Spirit of the Game.  Everything is screened on.

Neal Broten - CCM Ultrafil  knit, size 52.  This set is a set 3 and stamped for the 94-95 playoffs but since it was a strike season the Devils did not use this set until the 95-96 1st set.  Custom Crafted stamp in hem.  Original nameplate which is made of airknit material.  The jersey is also hemmed at the waist.
