10-1-07 Ted Kennedy - Wool, size 46. Most common Leafs wool sweaters that are in the hobby have the Doug Laurie sporting goods tag in the hem. This one has the Milwaukee sporting goods tag in the hem. According to my research these Milwaukee sporting goods tagged jerseys were worn between the mid 40’s and early 50’s. Now in 47-48 season Ted wears the assistants captains “A”, in 47-48 he wears the Captains “C” and beyond he is wearing the “C”. I believe this to be a 1946-47 season jersey based on when these jerseys were worn and when he starts wearing the A & C. LOA from the Spirit of the Game. Awesome game use on this jersey. Game Wear:

6-21-06 Wendel Clark - CCM Ultrafil knit, size 52. Born on date in the collar of 84 10. The provenance of this jersey can be traced to the Edmonton Oilers Classic Auctions in 2005. This jersey was a part of Rick "The Stick" Elaschuk ( Edmonton Employee) collection for many years. It comes with an LOA from Classic Auctions signed by Rick and will come with an LOA from the Spirit of the Game. I have matched this against other known real Leafs jerseys with the Clancy patches and they are identical in every manner. They measure 4x4" give or take a fraction of an inch do to shrinking from team washing. The stitching, embroidery are all identical. I even have a knock off patch and that is very identifiable as being very different from the real thing. The patch on this jersey is a real patch. The jersey shows game use, and there is customization done to the sleeves and to the fight strap and are all consistent to what the Maple Leafs should look like. The jersey does not show a nameplate change. I would say yes this is a game used Clark jersey. I can't pin point at what time during the 86-87 season this jersey was worn. I have photographic evidence upon request that there are 3 road Clancy patch jerseys and this one would be the 4th. My personal opinion is knowing Clark was a fighter and played a very tough style of game, he would have worn more jerseys then the normal player. There are other common players jerseys with early born on dates like this Clark that exist that have either both patches or just the Clancy. Game Wear:
